Dr. Marier has been a practicing medicine for over a decade.  She received her doctorate in naturopathic medicine from Sonoran University of Health Sciences in 2008 and completed a residency in family practice in 2010. 

After completing her residency, Dr. Marier established a successful family practice in Santa Monica, California for eight years, inside Lotus Integrative Medicine.  She became known for her ability to effectively treat both acute and chronic conditions utilizing naturopathic medicine.  After starting her family, she decided it was best to let go of the ocean in Southern California for a slower pace in the Midwest.  She founded Firefly Natural Medicine in 2022 where she grew up in Hugo, Minnesota.  Dr. Marier is ecstatic to bring naturopathic medicine back to her hometown and the greater Twin Cities.  She is a registered Naturopathic Doctor in Minnesota and continues to hold her medical license in California so she may also see patients in California virtually.

Dr. Marier has a style of her own.  She can effortlessly bridge what modern medicine has to offer, while remaining strongly grounded in her naturopathic approach to disease.  Her kind, compassionate nature shines as she holds space for each patients’ individual health journey, guiding them along towards optimal health. 

Dr. Marier is an active member of the AANP, MNANP, and CNDA.

Dr. Marier lives with her husband and two children in Shoreview, Minnesota.  She enjoys family time in the outdoors such as hiking, camping, gardening, and tackling home improvements.  In her downtime she likes to read, cook warm comforting meals for her family, and take time for yoga.
